Kitsap County COVID-19 infections hit 160 on Monday

Confirmed cases if COVID-19 have risen to 160 in Kitsap County, according to a Monday afternoon update by the Kitsap Public Health District. Since last Friday, two confirmed cases have been added by KPHD.

A total of 5,354 residents have tested negative — of those tested, the positive test rate has dropped to about 3 percent.

Of the 160 cases, 49 have been reported in Bremerton, 39 in South Kitsap, 33 in North Kitsap, 28 in Central Kitsap and 11 on Bainbridge Island. Two deaths have been confirmed by Kitsap Public Health District as well.

The age breakdown for confirmed cases is as follows:

0 – 19: 7

20 – 29: 29

30 – 39: 19

40 – 49: 27

50 – 59: 40

60 – 69: 19

70 – 79: 13

80 and older: 6
