KINGSTON — While it’s more than two months away, chairpersons of the Kingston Town Meeting Committee are starting their research now.

Co-chairs Steve Heacock and Greg Platz are asking residents for input on what projects and issues should be presented at the committee meeting at 7 p.m. Feb. 26 at Kingston Junior High School.

The session will provide an opportunity for Kingston residents to discuss major developments in the area with the people behind the projects.

The meeting will include staff members of the Kitsap County government, the Port of Kingston and local non-profit organizations. Commissioner Chris Endresen is also expected to speak at the beginning of the meeting.

Last year, nearly 30 booths were on site and included the Kingston Parks Trails and Open Space Committee, North Kitsap School District and Kitsap Transit.
