Have fun while adopting a Kitsap County park

PORT ORCHARD — Have fun and enjoy the great outdoors while lending a hand to spruce up a Kitsap County park. The county is looking for individuals, families, clubs or small employee groups to get involved in the community by adopting a park.

Those who adopt a park commit to a year of helping maintain that park. Guidelines, safety instructions and staff support are provided by the county’s parks department.

For more information, contact Lori Raymaker, stewardship coordinator, at 360-337-5350 for more information. Check the county’s website at http://bit.ly/2kqeZBT.
