Fire at Cash Brewing contained to inside of wall

Smoke, but reportedly no significant damage

OLD TOWN SILVERDALE — Central Kitsap and Navy firefighters contained a fire to the inside of a wall Feb. 6 at 3388 NW Byron St., which houses Cash Brewing Company and other businesses.

Firefighters were dispatched at 12:25 p.m. Smoke was found on the second floor of the building and firefighters extinguished a fire found inside a wall between the first and second floors. The fire itself was contained to the inside of the wall and there was some light smoke throughout the rest of the building, said Ileana LiMarzi, public information officer for Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue.

Firefighters from Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue and Navy Federal Fire responded. Once the fire was out, they remained on the scene to check for hot spots.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
