Fast ferry afternoon sailing to Seattle canceled

Return trip from Seattle also dropped due to mechanical issues

BREMERTON — Kitsap Transit reported Tuesday, July 18 that the 4:34 p.m. fast ferry sailing out of Bremerton to Seattle is not operating due to mechanical issues.

The 5:15 p.m. sailing leaving Seattle for Bremerton also has been canceled. The agency also noted that later sailings of the Rich Passage 1 may also be canceled, and urged commuters to check its Facebook page for up-to-date information.
