Dahlquist’s Fine Jewelry presents $10,000 check to Morrow Manor

Morrow Manor is proposed long-term supportive housing for domestic violence survivors and their children, where they can live while they rebuild their lives. Morrow Manor will be built in Poulsbo and is named in honor of Ardis Morrow, a longtime advocate for the rights of domestic violence survivors and their children.

POULSBO — Dahlquist’s Fine Jewelry presented a $10,000 this week from Jewelers for Children to Morrow Manor as part of a local grant program.

Jewelers for Children, a non-profit organization founded by the jewelry industry in 1999 is dedicated to helping children in need. This is the third year Dahlquist’s has presented a $10,000 check to a Poulsbo non-profit, with the first two going to Coffee Oasis and Fishline.

Voting began on Oct. 5 and concluded on Oct. 18. More than 18,000 people were motivated to visit the Jewelers for Children Facebook page and vote for their favorite local non-profit.
