3:05 a.m. Oct. 16: In South Kitsap, SE View Park Road in Port Orchard is partially because of a fallen tree on power lines.

SE Spruce Road is closed between Madrona Road SW and Horseshoe Avenue because of a tree down with power lines entangled.

Arab Lane SE is closed in the 1200 block off Burley Olalla because of a tree down with power lines entangled.

Southworth Road is closed at the 7600 block because of a collision investigation.

In Central Kitsap, on NW Bucklin Hill Road motorists are advised of water over the roadway between Silverdale Way NW and Blaine Avenue NW. Use extreme caution. Do not drive through any area where you cannot see the road under the water.

Central Valley Road is closed at Green Hill Court because of a tree down with power lines entangled.

In North Kitsap, Widme Road NE is closed just east of 19292, between the two 90-degree turns, because of a tree down with power lines entangled.

6:30 p.m. Oct. 15: SE View Park Road in Port Orchard is partially closed because of a fallen tree on power lines.

On Bucklin Hill Road, motorists are advised of water over the roadway between Silverdale Way NW and Blaine Avenue NW. Use extreme caution. Do not drive through any area where you cannot see the road under the water.

No road closures are reported in North Kitsap.

7:45 a.m. Oct. 15: Classes and activities at Olympic College Bremerton, Poulsbo, and Shelton are cancelled because of severe weather in the region.

6:09 p.m. Oct. 14: Hood Canal Bridge is reopened.

4:21 p.m. Oct. 14: SE View Park Road in Port Orchard is closed because of a fallen tree on power lines. Crews are working on clearing the area.

NE Fairgrounds Road in Bremerton is closed between Central Valley Road NW and Old Military Road NE because of a fallen tree on power lines. Crews are working on clearing the area.

Tracyton Beach Road NW, Bremerton is closed between Essex Street NW and NW Riddell Road because of a fallen tree on power lines. Crews are working on clearing the area.

Tracyton Boulevard NW at Fairgrounds Road NE in Bremerton is closed because of a fallen tree on power lines. Crews are working on clearing the area.

Park Boulevard in Suquamish is closed between Geneva Street and Suquamish Elementary School because of a fallen tree.

4:16 p.m. Oct. 14: The North Kitsap School District has canceled all weekend school activities.

3:20 p.m. Oct. 14: Because of high winds, the Hood Canal Bridge is closed. Crews are standing by to reopen the bridge to vehicle traffic when conditions change.

2:03 p.m. Oct. 14: The Kitsap County Department of Emergency Management has activated the county’s Severe Weather Shelter Plan. Three shelters will be open from 6 p.m. Oct. 15 to 7 a.m. Oct. 16: Salvation Army, 832 Sixth St., Bremerton; Village Green Community Center, 26159 Dulay Road NE, Kingston; Silverdale United Methodist Church, 9982 Silverdale Way NW, Silverdale.

10:59 a.m. Oct. 14: The Kingston Village Green will host its first severe-weather shelter at 6:30 p.m.

10:33 a.m. Oct. 14: Olympic College’s Bremerton campus is closed because of a power outage. It will reopen when power is restored.

6:45 a.m. Oct. 14: Miller Bay Road has reopened. Park Boulevard remains closed between Geneva Street and Suquamish Elementary School.

4:59 a.m. Oct. 14: Miller Bay Road NE is closed at NE Sid Price Road because of a fallen tree caught in power lines. Puget Sound Energy has been notified. Once the power lines are cleared, county crews will remove the tree and open the road.

Park Boulevard in Suquamish is closed between Geneva Street and Suquamish Elementary School because of a fallen tree. Because of the size of the tree, it will not be cleared until Oct. 15. Buses and parents will have to detour around the closure.
