Felony child sex charges have been filed against a South Kitsap man in connection with a series of incidents involving three children several years ago.

Anthony Matthew Petrillo, 41, of Port Orchard, was charged with with one count each of first-degree child rape, first-degree child molestation and second-degree possession of child pornography, according to charging papers filed June 9 in Kitsap County District Court.

Petrillo is currently in the Kitsap County Jail with bail set at $1 million.

On June 6, police executed a warrant for an apartment in the 2200 block of Sidney Avenue. Several storage media devices and a book containing nude photographs were seized as evidence. The suspect was not at the location during the search, state court records.

The suspect was arrested at a home in the 900 block of Mahogany Lane in Silverdale where the suspect was staying. A search warrant was issued by telephone for the home and investigators found several computers and storage media devices were discovered and seized for evidence, according to court documents.

Court documents stated the alleged rapes took place during a two-year period between February 2009 and February 2011 in Kitsap County. The molestations allegedly took place from January 2009 to December 2011.

Port Orchard police received a report from the Bremerton Police Department from a man who alleged his girlfriend’s children were molested by the suspect and the suspect’s girlfriend, court records stated.

During interviews, the victims — now 11, 13 and 15 —described several instances of molestation and rape when they were younger that happened at various locations. They also said the suspect took photographs of them and forced them to watch child pornography.
