entral Kitsap Community Council and Kitsap County Commissioner Ed Wolfe will be discussing short- and long-term improvements planned for the intersection of Greaves Way and Old Frontier Road at the April 4 meeting of the Central Kitsap Community Council.

It will run from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Silverdale Beach Hotel-Best Western, 3073 NW Bucklin Hill Road. The event is open to the public.

Kitsap County Public Works Director Andrew Nelson and Traffic Engineer Jeff Shea will provide an update on work planned at the intersection and an overview of other transportation projects in Central Kitsap.

There will also be an update on the Silverdale Economic Action Plan and proposed drone ordinance with Eric Baker of the Kitsap County Commissioners’ Office.
