Volunteers have finished their remodel of the Robert P. Smiley Scout Hall in Kingston.

They are ready to show it off at a rededication ceremony Feb. 12 at 2 p.m. The Scout Hall is located at 26128 Bannister St.

Donations of cash and materials allowed the remodel to happen.

The hall was built 62 years ago and has continuously served local youth since then. The Kingston Historical Society has placed the building on the state Historical Register.

The event will be a celebration of past, present and future of Scouting in Kingston.

The Kingston North Kitsap Rotary Club is the charter organization for Scouts of Pack and Troop 555.
