Note however, taxpayer’s returns requiring the reporting of significant business income or any loss, or any rental income are beyond the scope of this program. Tax-Aide volunteers are prepared to handle all 2007 tax law changes. Taxpayers must bring a photo identification, documents verifying the Social Security numbers of all persons on the tax return and all 2007 tax documents, such as statements of income from wages, retirement, social security, interest and or dividends. It is advisable to bring a checkbook to provide account numbers for electronic funds transfer and a copy of the 2006 return for comparison purposes. If in doubt about the paperwork, bring it all and let us sort it out.

Plan to arrive early. We try not to begin preparation of a new return during the last half hour before closing time.
