Bremerton sex offender changes address

The Bremerton Police Department has announced that a Bremerton sex offender has changed his address.

The Bremerton Police Department has announced that a Bremerton sex offender has changed his address.

Joseph T. Patheal, a 35 year old Asian/Pacific Islander, has registered with Kitsap County to reside in the 2100 block of N. Cambrian Avenue in Bremerton. This reflects a change of address within the city. Patheal is 5’10”, weighs 225 pounds and has black eyes and brown hair.

Patheal was convicted in Kitsap County in January 2001 of Child Molestation in the Third Degree. He has served the sentence imposed on him by the courts and is not wanted by police. Police say his criminal history places him in a classification level which reflects the potential to re-offend.

Those that would like further information about the sex offender notification system should contact the Bremerton Police Department’s Community Resource Specialist at 360-473-5231 or the Warrants Division at 360-473-5374.

As of the date of this bulletin, there are 20,341 sex offenders who have registered as required, since February 1990, and are living in Washington State — 829 of these are registered to the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office living at county addresses, and of these, 222 are registered to addresses within the city limits of Bremerton.
