Bremerton gift shop hosts inaugural beard-growing contest throughout November

Prizes include full shaving set, two tickets to Admiral Theatre concert, and goody bags

A local Bremerton gift shop, F.R.O.G Soap, will be hosting its first annual Down & Dirty Beard Growing Contest through the month of November.

Prizes include a full shaving set, including a Vintage Gillette Double-Edge Razor; two tickets to Choir of Man; and goody bags containing items and offers donated by local businesses. The entry is free. Categories of beards include longest, thickest, best effort, best styled, most gray, best freestyle, and best in show. Winners in all categories will be determined by a panel of judges using a scoring system based on the appearance of the beard.
