Be a person who decides

After all the interviews are over, the forums adjourned, ads, flyers, yard signs, letters to the editor and newspaper endorsements appear---you, the voter decides who deserves your precious vote.

We’re glad to see a sign in downtown Poulsbo that reminds us all who decides elections. It’s not the media that decides, but the voters.

After all the interviews are over, the forums adjourned, ads, flyers, yard signs, letters to the editor and newspaper endorsements appear—you, the voter decides who deserves your precious vote.

Invest some time studying your voter’s guide and the various campaign materials. Ask yourself which candidates will represent your interests and point-of-view. Then, be sure you mail your absentee ballot or go to the polls on Tuesday.

We are fortunate to have a highly qualified group of candidates for you to choose from in all races. We think the number of excellent candidates is a clear sign that our community members are actively involved in decision-making and government.

For each of you who invested your time, energy and finances to be a candidate–we extend our appreciation. And to those of you who win, we wish you great wisdom and patience in your new role.

But, we’re through with our part of the process.

Now, it’s your turn to decide.
