Sailors prepare to unfurl the homeward bound pennant as the crew mans the rails of the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz flight deck on Sunday afternoon as it returns to its homeport of Naval Base Kitsap in Bremerton. The 5,000-member crew sailed home after 11 months of deployment in waters in the North Arabian Sea, Indonesia and the Pacific.
