PORT ORCHARD — Do you think of yourself as a safe driver?

Not so sure? If you feel you need a refresher course in driving, AARP has scheduled driver safety courses for people in Manchester and Bremerton during the month of July.

The four-hour, two-day courses are scheduled for the following dates and locations:

• July 16-17: First Christian Church in Bremerton (360-373-2444)
• July 23-24: The Pearl (old West Park) in Bremerton (360-377-3010)
• July 25-26: Manchester Library in Manchester (360-895-0305)

The cost of the class is $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members. Reservations are requested since seating is limited, according to class instructor Ed Evans. Those attending both days will receive a course certificate, which will enable a participant to earn a discount from most insurance companies.
