Bremerton Symphony: It’s the sound choice live in 2021

Live music returns with performances for all ages!

If you are a music lover, you know there’s nothing that can replace live music! For many folks, it’s something that’s been sorely missed during the pandemic. Finally, after what feels like forever, the Bremerton Symphony is opening their 2021-2022 concert season with a live concert that spans the ages for all ages.

If you’ve never been to a symphony concert, now is a great time to find out what all the fuss is about. For folks in the know, “there’s a feeling that you just can’t get anywhere but a live concert,” notes Ann Jacobs, symphony media manager. You can feel the excitement of the audience as the players warm up, the instruments creating a chaotic cacophony as the audience chats, anticipating a sensory treat and adding to the commotion.

The lights dim, people take their seats. The conductor lifts his baton and, like magic, the audience quiets, the players prepare, and from what was chaos, comes the rhapsody of swirling music painting a picture with sound as the air seems to shimmer and vibrate with exquisite colour.

Good food nourishes the body and education feeds the mind, but art and music feed the soul. There’s no replacement for the emotional power of a live symphony orchestra and the way live music makes us feel, whether as a musician or as a concert goer!

The Bremerton Symphony wants to share a life-long passion with those who already love orchestral music and those who have yet to experience it first-hand. No matter what your age or experience, this is a great time to come back or come for the first time to experience the joy of a live symphony.

Music feeds the soul! The Bremerton WestSound Symphony’s opening concert is on Oct 10, 2021.
