The Village Green Foundation continues to work on a wide range of exciting projects to enhance the facility. We’ve already accomplished a lot this year and soon you’ll see a much-requested shade sail added near the playground in the park.

Meanwhile, a new exhibit is on display in the community center’s Grand Hallway Gallery for June and July. We’ll celebrate artist Lori Barrett along with her mixed media watercolors at a reception June 2 from 6:30-8 p.m.

Music at the Green, the summer outdoor concert series, kicks off June 28 at 6:30 p.m. with Anzanga, an African marimba band.

Throughout the summer, enjoy a different musical group in the Village Green Park every Wednesday. A complete list of acts and their performance dates can be found at

Volunteers are needed to keep this wonderful program going, too; to find out how to help, send an email to or call 360-297-1263.
