The Eugenie Jones Jazz Band will perform at the Historic Roxy Theatre (270 4th St., Bremerton) Feb. 11 at 7 p.m.
The band will perform music from her current release, PLAYERS, along with jazz classics, blues, and soul.
The singer/songwriter recording recently ranked No. 7 on Jazz Week’s Top 50. She has been named Earshot Jazz NW Vocalist of the Year and the Earshot Jazz Golden Ear Award for Recording of the Year. Jones is a national recording/performing artist and producer based in Kitsap County.
Jones is characterized as an exceptional “smoke and satin” vocalist with an electrically engaging stage presence. There will be a reception following the concert at Collective Visions Gallery, 331 Pacific Ave. Bremerton. The concert is in conjunction with the gallery’s 16th Annual Juried CVG Show.
