Breakfast with Santa set for Dec. 2

PORT ORCHARD — Kids and families on the lookout for Santa can now set their clocks to the Jolly One’s arrival in South Kitsap this next month.

The South Kitsap Fire and Rescue Volunteer Association and its Santa Command have announced its 2017 Santa Run schedule.

Organizers say Santa and his friends will be visiting neighborhoods throughout Port Orchard, beginning Dec. 1. The full list can be found on the organization’s Facebook page: search for South Kitsap Fire and Rescue Volunteer Association.

On Dec. 23, Santa and Co. will visit several apartment complexes in the area.

The Christmas crew will also be collecting money and canned goods that will be donated to South Kitsap Helpline Food Bank.

The traditional Breakfast with Santa at the Firehouse event is set for Saturday, Dec. 2 at the South Kitsap Fire and Rescue Fircrest Station, 1974 Fircrest Dr. in Port Orchard. The time for the event is from 8 a.m. to noon.

The cost to chow down with Santa is $5. Children 3 and younger are free. Organizers say it will be a great time to take photos of the kids with Santa.
