Walt Washington is our county auditor and he has been endorsed by retired auditor Karen Flynn. As a mater of fact, Flynn would not have retired when she did if Washington wasn’t perfectly capable of doing the job in a trustworthy, efficient and transparent as well as non-partisan way, with the highest possible ethical standards.

Washington has received awards from the state for his handling of fiscal accountability and for being the first county in the state to report primary election results. Washington is a citation-winning and medal-winning veteran and he received three field promotions while serving in the U. S. Marines, mainly in Vietnam.

Washington can be depended upon to continue to serve the people of Kitsap County with the same productivity and citizen participation levels that is his history as our hard working county auditor.

Washington has earned my vote and I hope yours as well.
