Twenty-one Poulsbo Noon Lions worked more than 47 hours May 5 and 6 collecting donations for our annual White Cane Days at area stores, downtown and the Poulsbo Post Office.
The grand total for the two days: $3,225. Many thanks to those Lions, as well as the six North Kitsap High Leos and four family and friends (including Miss Poulsbo and Miss Poulsbo’s Little Sister) who helped us. These funds stay in the North Kitsap community to help provide sight and hearing services to those in need.
In 2017, NK Fishline referred 78 clients to our club for assistance.
Poulsbo Lions are hoping to follow this successful project with our Viking Fest Pancake Breakfast May 19-20 to raise funds for scholarships.
We hope you can make it!
