The League of Women Voters of Kitsap would like to let everyone know that we do not support or oppose political candidates or parties.

We hold numerous forums at this time of year to let voters meet the candidates and pose written questions to them. We have an agreement with BKAT, our local public access television station, to record all our forums for airing and archiving. We ask those who attend our forums not to record them.

Our hope is that those who watch the forums on BKAT will see them in their entirety and hear the candidates’ responses to questions in context. If you should see partisan ads or other forms of publicity that include snippets from our forums, please know that this is not an indication that the League supports or opposes any candidate.
