Who won the state’s Republican caucus?
That fact is, that nobody really knows who won the Washington state Republican caucus. Indeed McCain and the media have reported a victory, but it is all a bunch of BS. In Kitsap County nearly 24 percent of the delegates listed “uncommited” for their Presidential preference. That makes the margin for error about as big as it can get. Can you imagine adding 20 percent to any of the candidates votes? It is indeed undecided.
So how does this mess get straightened out? Well, the delegates selected on Feb. 9 go on to select county delegates, who then go on to select 18 state delegates that actually do the voting at the national convention. The chances of a precinct delegate getting to the national convention are less than one in 1,000. The bottom line is that no one really knows who these 18 delegates will be until after the state convention.
I guess with the way things are these days, the media wants data, even if it is incomplete, and is willing to report about a winner when one can not honestly be called. Perhaps this is their way of effecting the primary votes that are not due, and will not be counted until Feb. 19.
People may think that this is “politics”, but there is one candidate running for President that plays by different rules. The ignorance of voters seems to but him at a disadvantage, but people are waking up. This man’s name is Dr. Ron Paul

t Ex-Gov. owes Scouts an apology.
Ex-Gov. Locke’s address to the BSA fundraising breakfast (Kitsap County article Bermant 2-9-08) revealed Locke’s “Hate-America” agitprop and bad history lesson that insulted the Scouts, attendees and citizens. Locke, claiming BSA Eagle rank, foreswore the Scout Oath of “duty to God and Country . . . to keep oneself morally straight” in his irresponsible claims that FDR and the American people operated “concentration camps” and that Japanese Americans were subject to unconstitutional civil rights violation. Mr. Locke: don’t insult FDR and your guests with left-wing conjuring. FDR’s actions were and remain constitutional and a military necessity. Apparently Ex-Gov. Locke was using FDR’s 1941 Executive Order 9066 to get to his real target: President Bush and a USA war against terrorism and Islamic fanaticism. No, Mr. Locke, President Bush has obeyed U.S. law in his war on terrorism and to state otherwise is both seditious and a supreme insult to the young Scout leaders at that worthy fundraiser breakfast.
Save your left-wing diatribes and disinformation for a deserving crowd such as ACLU, Move.on.org or a George Soros soiree. Our Scouts deserve more than warmed-over Bush Derangement Syndrome from the guest speaker. Furthermore your Hate-America shtick was originally presented at the Bainbridge Japanese Memorial event on March 30, 2007. Given that audience, perhaps your distortions were well received– perhaps.
You owe the Scouts and apology for falsely and maliciously defaming FDR, President Bush and the American people. I say to you about your lies: LET IT NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN.
