Gun laws curbing proliferation not a threat

Laws to control unnecessary proliferation of some guns are not a threat to most gun ownership.

Laws to control unnecessary proliferation of some guns are not a threat to most gun ownership. NRA members and lawmakers need to grow up and face these factual realities. Our schools need to be gun-free zones for both students and teachers.

No threat to our citizens’ safety and security exists to justify selling individual citizens military weapons of mass destruction that have been used in the increasing frequency of mass murder of innocent adults and school children.

Arming school teachers with handguns to protect school children is not a rational or realistic solution. The collateral damage is unthinkable. Millions more citizens armed with handguns is an American nightmare, not The American Dream.

Teachers with guns are more likely to increase the carnage by accidentally shooting students or by getting killed and providing shooters with even more loaded guns.

Gun control laws promise to maximize safety and security better than the insane proliferation of guns in our streets and in our schools.

Our lawmakers need to change obsolete gun laws now!
