South Kitsap Properties opens new office in Port Orchard

Real estate office is on Bethel Avenue

PORT ORCHARD — Doug Miller, owner and broker of South Kitsap Properties, has opened a new office in Port Orchard.

After a number of years as a managing broker at John L. Scott Real Estate, Miller said his affinity for Port Orchard and South Kitsap prompted him to expand his business.

“The community really got behind local real estate done right,” Miller said. “It was awesome to be able to expand and grow our team, and we expanded again late last year so that we could help even more people here locally.”

The new office for South Kitsap Properties at 2427 Bethel Ave. SE is located in the old Olympic Insurance building and shares space with Fernie Chiropractic.

The real estate business will also be boosted by a freshened website and an updated logo, the owner and broker said.

“Branding is so important,” Miller said. “I wanted people to see that we are proud to be in South Kitsap. It’s a growing community and it deserves hyper-local, personalized service. It’s the same with the website: it’s fresh and it’s designed to streamline the home-buying process.”

Established in 2013, Miller’s South Kitsap Properties said it has sold more than 300 homes, with more than $100 million in sales, ranking the team in the top 1% in Kitsap County. Miller is a member of the Port Orchard Chamber of Commerce and accredited by the Better Business Bureau.

The website is SouthKitsapProperties.com.
