Goller Gallery cuts ribbon downtown

POULSBO — The Goller Gallery made its place on Front Street official with a ribbon cutting on Aug. 7, after four months on the block.

“I really meant to do it a lot earlier, but I got busy and it took a while to do it,” said gallery owner Carrie Goller.

The gallery has certainly kept the artist busy, not only with managing a Front Street business, but also with new commissions.

The gallery is open Wednesdays through Sundays, 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. It also has a website at www.carriegollergallery.com.

Goller said she is happy to be part of the downtown Poulsbo arts district and that the community is very supportive.

“I’m so happy to have such a warm welcome from Poulsbo and beyond,” she said. “The other galleries have been very helpful and there isn’t any competitive behavior. It’s really cohesive downtown.”
