Homes earn Awards

of Excellence

The Home Builders Association of Kitsap County recently announced its Award of Excellence winners recognized at the 2008 Parade of Homes banquet held Aug. 22.

The Best Hospitality Awards of Excellence was credited to Central Highlands Builders for two homes: 19383 Scoter Lane NE, Poulsbo Place II/Div.6, and 19398 Scoter Lane NE, Poulsbo Place II/Div.6 in Poulsbo.

The Best Landscaping Detail/Layout award went to Heart Homes, LLC for a home located on 21080 Indianola Road.

The Best in Show Category Winners included Capstone Homes Inc. for their home on 1587 Watland Road in Poulsbo for the $401,000 – $550,00 range. Judges comments included “great kitchen and eating area,” “good traffic flow.”

For the more than $550,000 range the award went to Heart Homes LLC for the home on 21080 Indianola Road. Judges comments included “stunning beauty,” “outstanding landscape detail” and “a complete package.”

Liberty Bank VP sees milestone

Leslie Peterson, senior vice president and chief lending officer for Liberty Bank of Washington in Poulsbo, just completed her second resident session with the Pacific Coast Banking School (PCBS).

PCBS is considered the premier national graduate school of banking and is operated in partnership with the University of Washington Graduate School of Business.

Peterson will be attending her third resident session next summer, graduating in September 2009.
