Team Westsound, a group of martial art athletes, is reaching out for financial assistance to help defray costs of participating at junior and senior nationals this year.

Athletes are comprised of children and adults of all ages from Kitsap County, including Bainbridge Island, Poulsbo, Port Orchard, Silverdale, Kingston and Bremerton.Total estimated expenses for 10 athletes and three coaches is about $26,000. The cost per athlete/coach is approximately $2,000.

Donations may be made in any amount and all contributions go directly to the team. For more information contact (360) 779-1853.

West Sound Appraisal recently opened in Kingston. The company specializes in the appraisal of single family homes, condominium units, small income producing properties (up to four units), and vacant land.
