Celebrating 10 years

Sooke Peewee boys won gold in Fleetwood (Surrey) on the weekend. Finishing the round robin at three and one the boys gelled as a team and played a tough seven-inning rally to win 4-3 for the rights to play in the gold game. The best pitchers went head to head to finish the 7th inning of the gold game tied at 3. The first extra inning saw the score change by one but still tied. Sooke’s bats lit up on the second extra inning to drive in five runs. Wittch silenced Fleetwood’s bats for the win. Iain Sutherland and Richard O’Hare registered home runs over the tournament.
