Chris Tibbs and Linda Simpson announced on Thursday their candidacies for the Kitsap County Commission, districts 1 and 2. The investigation into the fatal police shooting of a Poulsbo man Feb. 8 is nearing completion, and a final report is expected to be forwarded to the county prosecutor’s office in two weeks.
