All the South Kitsap senior will say is that he’s hoping for a top-three finish during Star Track today and Saturday at Mount Tahoma High School.
It’s not that Allison lacks confidence — he just doesn’t believe his recent performance justifies any hype. He finished second in the javelin, with a throw of 179 feet, 9 inches, at last week’s West Central District meet. Tahoma’s Derek Eager won the event at 189-10.
“I’m not where I’m supposed to be,” Allison said. “It’s frustrating. This is my last time to compete.”
