Tom McMillan, 80, of Suquamish, WA, passed away on October 4, 2020. Born on June 9, 1940 in Seattle, WA to Don and Betty (Thomas) McMillan, Tom went on to graduate from Lincoln High School in Seattle, WA and attended the University of Washington for a two year period, studying Pre-Med and Communications. Tom was part of a three-man singing group and was a stand-up comedian during the 1960s, and later worked in the technology sector, retiring after 18 years. On June 20, 1981, Tom married Karen Gillen. Tom was always an artist, from his days in Sausalito, CA to his time in the Northwest in Poulsbo. He enjoyed taking part in Viking Fest and working in his studio in Suquamish. He is preceded in death by his parents. Tom’s memory will live on with his loving wife of 39 years, Karen; brother, Bob of Goodyear, AZ; and sister, Nancy Schuepbach of Northern California. Tom was a man of all seasons and a multi-talented person with exceptional gifts. He was a kind and compassionate man with a ready wit who loved all people. A private graveside service was held at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Bremerton. Arrangements are entrusted to Lewis Funeral Chapel.
