Anita Mueller

Anita Monika Mueller died Jan. 27 in Indianola. She was 58. Mueller was born June 27, 1950, in Husum, Germany, and grew up in Schweinfurt, Germany.
She is survived by two sisters; Hannelore Morretti, Chicago and Waltraud Empen, Germany and two sons; Alexander Nudelman of California and Roland Nudelman, Suquamish.
Her mother, Amalie Mueller, of Berlin, Germany, preceded her in death.
Monika immigrated to the United States from Germany in 1969 and spent 15 years in the Carmel, Calif., area where her sons were born.
Mueller made her home in Indianola for the last 22 years. The community was greatly blessed with her presence- she touched many lives. Over the years Monika worked as a gardener, a barber, a caregiver, and a housekeeper. She also made and marketed a fruit candy bar that she sold locally through her business, the Unbakery.
There will be a memorial service at 1 p.m. Feb. 1 at the Indianola Clubhouse.
