Gerry Horner, 57
Kingston resident Gerry Horner died March 12, 2006 in Kingston. He was 57.
He was born to Marguerite (Elizabeth) and Williams James Horner in Batavia, N.Y. on May 3, 1948.
Horner married Ginger L. Keifert.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1968-1991, achieving rank of senior chief petty officer. He also served during Vietnam.
Horner was a customer service representative at Kingston Lumber. He also worked as a mechanic for eight years at Trout Blue Chelan.
He was enjoyed in woodworking.
Horner is survived by his wife Ginger L. Horner of Kingston; sons SSG James E. (Megan) Horner of Renton and BMSN Michael H. Horner of San Diego, Calif.; daughter Liane (Aaron) Thompson of Silverdale; brother Will (Anne) Horner of Batavia, N.Y.; and sisters Cathy Baker of Batavia, N.Y. and Wendy (Jim) Goodwin of Albion, N.Y.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held from 2-4 p.m. March 26 at the Miller Bay Estates Club House. Memorial donations can be sent to Hospice of Kitsap County.
