Albert L. Saurdiff, 93
Poulsbo resident Albert Lewis Saurdiff died Jan. 3, 2006 in Bullhead City, Ariz. He was 93.
Saurdiff was born to Edmund and Licktil (Perrault) Saurdiff in Warroad, Minn. on Dec. 4, 1912.
He married Iola Ruth Hamilton in July 1935 in Warroad, Minn.
Saurdiff moved to Seattle in 1942 to work for Boeing. He also worked for Ravenna Metals before going to work at the City of Seattle Engineering Department. He retired in 1974 and he and Iola spent winters in Arizona.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with family.
Saurdiff is survived by his sons Norman G. Saurdiff of Bullhead City, Ariz. and Joseph J. (Mary) Saurdiff of Poulsbo; daughter Alberta A. (Jack) Murray of McMinnville, Ore.; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Joe, Wilford, William, Lawrence, Ted and Paul; sisters Mary, Rose, Lillie, Emma, Alys and Alma; and wife Iola Ruth Saurdiff.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Jan. 14 at The Stone Chapel in Poulsbo.
