Robert ‘Bob’ C. Prouty, 81

Robert C. Prouty of Poulsbo died March 3, 2007 in Poulsbo. He was 81.

Bob was born to Clement and Francis Prouty in Portland, Ore. on April 7, 1925.

He married Evelyn (Penny) Lathrop on June 17, 1946 in Portland, Ore.

Bob worked as a Marathon Oil truck driver from 1950 to 1966, and at Junction Insurance as an insurance agent.

He served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1946 as a radarman, third class.

Bob enjoyed woodworking, camping at the ocean, bowling and playing with his dog Teddi.

Bob is survived by his wife Evelyn (Penny) Prouty; his son Michael (Deb) Prouty of Poulsbo; his daughters Debra Bacher of Phoeniz, Ariz., Janine (Dennis) Deakin of Scottsdale, Ariz. and Patricia (Rich) Horn of Surprise Ariz.; his sister Kathryn Hoech of Poulsbo; and five grandchildren.
