Robert Thomas Hogan

POULSBO — Robert Thomas “Bob” Hogan, 66, passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack on Dec. 27 at Franciscan-St. Anthony’s Hospital in Gig Harbor.

He was born Sept. 3, 1949 in Bremerton, graduated from North Kitsap High School in 1967 and served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was employed at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 48.5 years; at the time of his death, he was a nuclear zone manager.

Bob married Kathleen Downey on Nov. 18, 1972. He was a Scout leader and member of North Kitsap Eagles, Poulsbo Historical Society, Federal Managers Association. He served as vice president of the original Lemolo Citizens Club.

He is survived by his wife, children, Courtney Turnley, Kyle Foreman, Kelly Hogan; three grandchildren; and other relatives.

Celebration of life 3 p.m. Jan. 2 at the Eagles Aerie, 4230 NE Lincoln Road, Poulsbo. Memorials preferred to Poulsbo Historical Society.
