A savior in the storm

During our recent storm and power outage, Angels of Mercy were out and about. One in particular was Julia Krucek, Owner of Jak’s Cafe & Espresso.

Julia received a call from a friend. who was a client of St. Olaf’s Food Basket distribution program, who couldn’t get to the church to pick up her basket. Julia gladly responded and, upon arriving at the church, discovered 14 baskets had not been picked up due to road conditions. Without hesitating, Julia took all of the remaining food baskets and delivered them to the individual resident’s homes.

I would like to speak on her behalf for this unselfish act of kindness.
