Wolfe would be one of three votes on BOCC

I am concerned that Jack Hamilton, proponent of the candidacy of Ed Wolfe, does not know that Mr. Wolfe is a self-styled “moderate” who will be one of three votes on any issue before the Kitsap County Board of Commissioners (“Voting for leadership, not directorship,” page A4, Oct. 3 Herald).
I do not see in the term “moderate” much to distinguish Mr. Wolfe from either of the three current commissioners. Of course, election to a public office will be a feather in his cap, so to speak. But if he cannot accomplish many of those goals set out by Mr. Hamilton, what will be the benefit to the conservative citizen?
I do like the way that Mr. Hamilton stoutly defends the Jeffersonian principles of “deciding where to live” along with “how you are able to use the fruits of your labor” toward “self-reliance” and more — as he drinks clean water in a home built according to codes that provide lower insurance and energy costs, while he thinks of driving to Port Orchard on roads kept up by publicly-funded workers to protest his lack of freedom.
