I am writing you because I am wondering how we can make our community aware of the drug “Spice” that is being sold here in our town by the local smoke shops.

I am only aware of this, because I am watching my son go down this path of destruction with it. I know that addiction is a disease and that this stuff can kill a person with just one hit. I have turned in the smoke shop that I know about to West-Net narcotics division, but there doesn’t seem to be anything they can do because of how long it takes to test the chemical compound found in this drug.

I am not only reaching out for the sake of my own child but for the sake of others that might think this stuff is ok and that is wont hurt with just one hit.

What can we do as a community to shut this place down or bust it, in a non harmful way to ourselves and others?
