Tri Pointe Homes is holding a grand opening for its newest community, Plateau at Liberty Bay, Aug. 15. The 63 single-family home community is the builder’s eighth neighborhood in the city.

Located at 1056 NW Tromso Street, the development is a 63-home neighborhood with seven home design options ranging from approximately 2,112 to 3,070 square feet, with three to five bedrooms, open-concept living spaces, and flexible layouts designed to meet a range of needs for today’s homeowners, a news release says. Homes are anticipated to start in the $700,000s. The community includes nearly 14 acres of protected open space, access to city parks, and nearby trails, waterfront recreation, and downtown Poulsbo.

Since 2007, Tri Pointe (which was formerly known as Quadrant Homes in Washington state until 2020) has developed seven other communities in the Poulsbo area, delivering approximately 637 homes. Previous communities include Stendahl Ridge, Liberty Hill, Vinland Pointe, Mountain Aire, Lone Pine, and most recently, Poulsbo Meadows and Blue Heron, per the release.

“Despite challenging market conditions across the Puget Sound, Kitsap County’s housing market is relatively robust, reflecting steady demand in the area due to strong industry sectors including military, health care, and education,” said Tricia Lynn, vice president of community experience for Tri Pointe Homes Washington. “We’re proud to have built several communities in the region and look forward to continuing our mission of building homes that change lives with this new neighborhood.”

To celebrate the newest community, Tri Pointe Homes will host a grand opening Aug. 15 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests will have an opportunity to tour the model homes, enjoy refreshments and an ice cream bar, and meet Mariner Moose, who is scheduled to make a guest appearance from 12 to 1 p.m. Attendees can learn more about available homesites, floor plans, and the homebuying process.
