Have you taken a Pacific Northwest photo that deserves to be seen? Whether it’s a stunning mountain vista, a quiet coastal moment, incredible wildlife or an everyday scene that captures the spirit of our region, now is your chance to share it.

First Fed is now accepting entries for their 2026 Proudly PNW Photo Contest, which celebrates the creativity and talent of photographers throughout our communities.

Each year, the contest showcases the people, places, and natural beauty that make the PNW such a special place to call home, while giving our local talent an opportunity to have their work recognized and shared.

“Our communities are filled with talented photographers, both amateur and professional, who see the Pacific Northwest in inspiring and meaningful ways,” says Donya Alward, First Fed’s Community Engagement Director. “The Proudly PNW Photo Contest is an opportunity to celebrate those perspectives while highlighting the beauty, character and spirit of the places we call home.”

Winning photographers will receive cash prizes, have their images featured in the 2027 First Fed Photo Calendar and see their work showcased throughout the year in First Fed branch displays, social media and other community events.

“Last year’s calendars were incredibly popular, and it was so much fun hearing customers talk about their favorite photos and recognizing places they know and love,” says Nicole Pruden, Sequim Village Branch Manager at First Fed. “I’m excited to see the talent that comes through this year’s contest and the images that will fill our 2027 calendar.”

The contest is open to photographers throughout the Pacific Northwest, and participants do not need to be First Fed customers to enter. Photos may be submitted in four categories:

  • Pacific Northwest Landscapes
  • People in Nature
  • Wildlife & Animals
  • Local Landmarks

Community members who aren’t submitting photos can still participate by voting for the Fan Favorite winner on the contest entry page. Public voting gives everyone an opportunity to recognize outstanding photography and help select one of the contest’s winners.

The Proudly PNW Photo Contest continues its tradition of celebrating both the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest and the talented photographers who capture it.

Visit the contest webpage to submit your photos, review the official rules, and vote on the entries for your Fan Favorite pick. Good luck, and happy shooting.
