The Kingston Middle School Band and Parade Squad were invited to compete at the Parade of Bands in Victoria, B.C., in May. This competition is nationwide, and the group has taken first and second place in previous years, which is a huge accomplishment.

The group needed to raise travel fees, and therefore a fundraiser was held at Tizley’s Europub in downtown Poulsbo. The event was a huge success, and the members of the parade squad wish to extend their deepest gratitude for all who attended the event, and those who added extra cash donations to the cause.
