Drive up Flu Shot took place on the backside of Poulsbo City Hall

Cars lined up along both Third and Moe streets for their occupants to participate in the Free Flu Shot program recently sponsored by Poulsbo City Hall.

“We weren’t expecting this, but it’s great to see,” said Kim Hendrickson, Housing Health and Human Services director.

There were two tents set up along Third Street, one was set up by Rite Aid Pharmacy and was available for those with health insurance, the second was through the Kitsap Health District, for those without insurance.

“We are glad to see so many people come out and get their flu shot. It’s especially important this year with the prevalence of the coronavirus still out there,” Hendrickson said.
