PORT ORCHARD — Eight South Kitsap School District students attending high school and middle school were named Students of the Month for November by the Kiwanis Club of Port Orchard.

The students are nominated by teachers and administrators at each school and invited to a catered lunch with their families. The students are recognized at the meeting and presented with a check.

Those honored this month were:

Shae Dean, Cedar Heights Middle School; Renee Wallace, Marcus Whitman Middle School; Reese Wilson, John Sedgwick Middle School; Deyondre Davis and Sara Reidy, South Kitsap High School; Bella Walker and Emma Wilcox, Discovery High School; and Samantha Washburn, Explorer Academy.
