Statshot: Employment and Jobs in Kitsap County

The jobless rate in Kitsap County was 4.4 percent in October, tied for 13th lowest of Washington’s 39 counties.
According to the state Employment Security Department, Kitsap had a civilian labor force of 121,991 in October. Of that, 116,650 were employed, 5,341 were not.
- No. 1: Asotin, 3.3 percent
- No. 2: San Juan, 3.5 percent
- No. 3: Chelan, 3.6 percent
- No. 4 (tie): King, Adams, 3.7 percent
- No. 5: Whitman, 3.8 percent
- No. 13 (tie): Kitsap, Thurston, Clark, Spokane, 4.4 percent.
