BREMERTON — From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 22, the Valentinetti Puppet Museum had a “name your own price” moving sale at its old site, 257 Fourth St., Bremerton.

The museum has moved across the street into the Kitsap County Historical Museum and lots of things have to go, according to Stanley Hess, the museum’s curator.

The sale brought in about $700 despite being what Hess called “a very last minute effort with essentially no advertising,” and despite the fact they did not set prices on items but only requested donations.

Among the items for sale are commercial-grade children’s furniture, display cases, holiday decorations, kitchen items, picture frames, a refrigerator suitable for an apartment, office furniture, some puppets, and puppet theaters.

All of the proceeds went to the puppet museum.
