Chief Kitsap Academy student athletes are true winners

Congratulations to the Lady Bears for their upbeat and inspiring season, and to the North Kitsap Herald for sharing their story with us (“Lady Bears make school history,” page A10, Feb. 10 Herald).

Both the photo and the article show the joy and dedication with which these fine young women approach their sport — and, after all, isn’t that what sports are all about?
