Larry Raymond Best

POULSBO — Larry Raymond Best was born on Feb. 9, 1934 in Twisp, Washington. After an extended illness that involved both Alzheimer’s and dementia, Larry passed away peacefully on Feb. 12, 2015 in Poulsbo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David Burl Best and Laura Tisdale; his brothers, Dale Best and Earl (Pete) Best; and his infant son, Duane Best. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Helen; his sister, Patty Tisdale; his children, Carol (Russ), David (Mary), Laura (Mark), Elizabeth (Alfredo), Jeffery (Linda), and Steven (Amy); 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Larry’s life will be celebrated and honored on Saturday, March 14 at 11a.m. at Redeemer United Methodist Church, 9900 NE Shorty Campbell Road, Kingston (http://redeemer-umc.org/contact).
